It’s official!

Taking part in this year’s Peak District Challenge Gold Ultra 100km route will give you 3 qualifying points for the 2016 Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc®.

Participants who enter and complete the Gold Ultra Challenge 100km (starting at 9pm on Friday 18th September 2015) will be awarded 3 points towards their entry to the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc® in 2016.

Described as ‘A great epic in a magical environment’.  The Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc® invites you to live an adventure out of the ordinary by participating in one of 5 races:

PTL® (La Petite Trotte à Léon)
CCC® (Courmayeur Champex Chamonix) TDS® (Sur les Traces des Ducs de Savoie)
OCC (Orsières – Champex – Chamonix) and the

UTMB® the annual 168km ultramarathon, taking place across the Italian, French and Swiss Alps. Recognised as one of the most challenging events of its type, the course features over 70 glaciers and a 9,600-metre ascent.

The Peak District Challenge Gold Ultra 100km event represents the perfect opportunity for competitors looking to add some points to their total in preparation for the 2016 event, it also serves as a brilliant starting point for keen runners looking to find a way into the ultramarathon world.
