We want to offer you an incredible, challenging trek to walk or run, but also to use it as a chance to give to charity as we go. When you enter the Peak District Challenge your entry fee will cover all the costs involved with running the event safely.
Then you will have two choices:
1. Support our chosen charity for the event ‘S.A.L.V.E. International’: You can chose to seek sponsorship for S.A.L.V.E. International. S.A.L.V.E. is a British-based organisation working in a variety of different ways to reduce the number of children living on the streets of Uganda, all of which have education at the heart of them. You can chose to commit to a minimum fundraising target of £100 for S.A.L.V.E, and receive a discount on your entry fee. Alternatively we ask a small surcharge (£10-£100+) which is given in its entirety as a donation to S.A.L.V.E. You can read more about the work done by S.A.L.V.E International here, or by viewing the video below.
2.Raise sponsorship for a charity of your choice: Everything you raise in sponsorship should be paid directly to the charity you have chosen. The only cost you personally have to pay is the entry fee (to cover the cost of running the event). We will send you a pack of fundraising tips and information after you sign up to help you with this. Your chosen charity needs to be one of our registered charities, however if they aren’t registered they can easily register for free.
